In an effort to support the development of the IHBT Team Model across Ohio, CIP is offering this interactive family intervention series specifically to include non-licensed team members (QBHS & Peers). IHBT providers at all levels are invited to join us and learn how to implement experiential activities and conversations to increase family and parental skills and connections.
This 3-hour, monthly webinar series identifies parents/caretakers as the natural family leaders and provides engaging, skill-building sessions that can be implemented virtually or in-person. These sessions are designed to help parents to reframe problem behaviors, upgrade or improve their parenting skills as their children move through new developmental stages, and strengthen their relationships. Providers at all levels will be able to engage and lead these 18 sequenced sessions (12 family sessions and 6 parent/caretaker sessions), designed to stabilize, support and strengthen families. Sessions are modular and flexible; providers can deliver them in one, or across several appointments. Participants only need to register once to attend any or all of the sessions.
3 CEs Available to: Social workers, Counselors and Psychologists
Connection: To ensure CIP COE provides top quality training and learning experiences, all participants must have their cameras on for the entire training event to attend and receive credit. The attendance and participation expectations are the same for virtual and in-person training events: no multitasking, follow along, engage, and participate in discussions and other activities, no traveling in a car or attending concurrent meetings.
Note: If you join the training without your camera on, you will be removed and need to reschedule.
1. Bandwidth issues: inform your agency and make plans to access a connection that is conducive for camera-on, engaged learning.
2. Chromebook or similar devices generally complicate your connection. You will not be able to obtain chat information etc.; you will need alternative options.
3. Phoning in with audio (no video) cannot verify attendance, you will be removed from the training and unable to earn credits.
