Wraparound SoC | Practice Pillars NEEDS Training

February 8 @ 9:00 am - 12:00 pm

Free

Presented by Rachel Sorg

REGISTER HERE

One of the four pillars of wraparound practice is the identification and utilization of unmet need statements within the care planning process. Participants in this session will gain an understanding of unmet need statements as a tool for articulating the underlying conditions that give rise to the challenges faced by individuals and families. Participants will learn ways to use need statements to frame concerns held by youth and families in a way that speak to the “why” rather than simply the “what” of a situation. Participants will learn to use this framework in supporting teams to build effective help and support plans with families they get to serve.

2.75 CEs available to Social work, Counselor, Psychologist, RN, LPN & Chemical Dependency Counselor for ALL Practice Pillar Courses

TRAINING EVENTS ARE SPONSORED by the Ohio Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services and the Ohio Department of Medicaid. These professional development events are free for Ohio’s System of Care workforce. If you are not a provider supporting Ohio’s System of Care, but are interested in a training, please click here to contact us.

Please review the following virtual training policies to ensure a productive and respectful learning environment.

1.Registration: Each person must be registered individually and use their unique link to join the Zoom training. A reconfirmation email was sent to registered persons which contained your link to this training. Your unique link is used for attendance purposes and verification for CEs.

2.Connection: Bandwidth issues: inform your agency and make plans to access a working connection. Chromebook or similar devices complicate your connection, and you will not be able to obtain chat information etc. Phoning in with audio (no video) cannot verify attendance, and you will be removed from the training.

3.Artificial Intelligence: To ensure a safe training experience, there is no AI permitted. Any AI present will be removed. Zoom auto transcripts are available.

4.Engagement: Please review your pre-training email with handouts before the training. Login on time and be prepared. Actively participate in group discussions and breakout rooms. Behaviors should be the same as in-person training, and limit multi-tasking activities (phone calls, side conversations or meetings, emails, driving in your car, being online in unrelated topics, etc.). Cameras must be on, and participants must be in view. If you do not have a working camera or wi-fi, please problem solve this before the day of training.

5.Earn CE/Attendance Certificate: You must attend at least 90% of the training (attending breaks does not qualify towards CE eligibility). After the training, you will receive an email with a Qualtrics link to complete an evaluation survey, which must be completed within 48 hours. Please allow 2 weeks for distribution of the certificate to your email and check your Spam/Junk folder before reaching out. You will not receive a CE/Attendance certificate unless you complete the survey.

Thank you again for joining us for this training. Please email Amy Pickens at axp723@case.edu if you have any questions.
